Abstract

The possibility of preparing two series of solid solutions in the system Ba3 − xSrxEr(BO3)3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 3.0), crystallizing in different structural types, was examined. Samples of the phases of variable composition were synthesized by the method of solid-phase reactions, and their X-ray phase analysis was done. The X-ray diffraction characteristics of the phases synthesized were determined.
