Abstract
Abstract Two types of liquid crystalline polymethacrylates, having 4-(4-substituted phenylazo)phenyl benzoate in a mesogenic side chain, were prepared. The relationship between the shape of the mesogenic side chain and the liquid crystallinity was studied.
