Abstract

Phase diagram of Sr1-xBaxZrO3, which is a mother phase of high proton conducting oxide, has been established by using high temperature X-ray diffraction, DSC and dilatometry. The temperature, jump of specific heat and variation of enthalpy of three kinds of phase transitions detected in SrZrO3 decreased with increasing Ba content. The phase boundaries among primitive orthorhombic, body-centered orthorhombic, tetragonal and cubic phase have been determined.
