Abstract

The paper considers the study of the mechanism of nanophase transformations in metal-polymer composite materials based on thermoplastic matrices. It is shown that the reversible transition nanometal + polymer → metal-containing high-molecular compound, which results from the transformation of the adsorption bonds between the components into valent bonds, improves the performance characteristics of articles made of metal-polymer composites, including their wear resistance.
