Abstract
Preliminary results are presented for the conversion of de Haas van Alphen data into information concerning the point properties of the Fermi surfaces of the transition metals. It is shown that the spin-orbit generalized phase shifts may be used to fit the Fermi surfaces of the heavy transition metals.
