Abstract
Phase locking has been studied experimentally in series-connected double Josephson weak links. Phase differences of the weak links interact with each other due to the load current from a capacitive shunt. In the current-voltage curve, hysteresis has been observed when the voltage state is maintained dominantly by the load current. In this region, a new mode of phase locking has been confirmed between a Josephson frequency and its non-harmonic components. It is shown that the change of the bias-current condition relates to the varying coupling strength of the Josephson frequencies and results in composite motion of the phase locking.
