Abstract

Within the framework of Monte Carlo simulation based of the Metropolis algorithm, we investigated the magnetic properties of a ferrimagnetic mixed-spins (3/2, 5/2) Ising nanotube with a hexagonal core–shell structure. The effects of the longitudinal crystal field of the shell sublattice Dsh, of different exchange couplings Jsh and Jint have been studied in detail on magnetization behaviors, magnetic susceptibility curves, phase diagrams and also hysteresis loops. As a results, we found that the system exhibits the compensation phenomenon, the second-order phases transitions, the total magnetization can takes S, Q, and N-types shapes, as well as the triple hysteresis loops under certain values of longitudinal crystal field, exchange coupling constants and temperature. Finally, the physical phenomena obtained are qualitatively in good agreement with other experimental and theoretical results on the same system.
