Abstract
Initial data for calculating isothermal sections of the phase diagram, a method for calculation with illustrations in the form of specific examples, calculation results in the form of isothermal sections of the diagram at 1485, 1473, 1250, 1225, 1200, 1175, 1160, 1000, 800, 700, 600, 570, 500, and 400°C, and results of an analysis of these isothermal sections in the form of some special features of structure formation in high-manganese alloys are presented. It is shown that the system possesses two four-phase nonvariant equilibria, i.e., a eutectic-peritectic equilibrium at about 1160°C and a eutectoid-peritectoid equilibrium at about 570°C.
