Pharmacy or Physician?: Central Support for Educational Technology in South Australian Schools

Abstract

Abstract The Educational Technology Centre, a branch of the South Australian Education Department, has evolved from a central service centre to a centre heavily involved in the research, development, implementation and evaluation of communications technologies relevant to schools. This article describes the work of the Centre, to serve as an example of a central support centre in the area of educational technology.
