Abstract
The present paper deals with the macro- and micro-Scopical studies of the vegetative parts of Sarcostemma brevistigma W.&A. The cell-contents, percentage extractives and ash values, fluorescence characters and behaviour of drug powder on treatment with different chemical reagents is also described.
