Abstract
This article identifies aspects of the wide application of films in various fields, including not only medicine, but also medical cosmetics, as well as for care. The emphasis is placed on the development of medicinal forms of domestic production and research in this area is given. The classification of films by species composition is considered. The advantages of films in comparison with other dosage forms as a promising dosage form with modified release are also highlighted. The emphasis is placed on a separate young industry for the Russian consumer market as cosmeceuticals, which uses films and is promising in the Russian Federation.
