Widely available and distributed for free through drug company mailing lists is the Physician's Compendium of Drug Therapy (Compendium Publications Group, Secaucus, New Jersey). Its organization and general usefulness are most similar to Facts and Comparisons, but the drug descriptions are short.For physicians who frequently examine and treat travellers from abroad, two books besides Martindale: The Extra Pharmacopoeia are useful.
