Abstract

For some pH processes, components and concentrations of influent streams are time-varing, causing dramatic changes of their dynamic characteristics. To track dynamic characteristics of time-varing pH processes adaptively, in-line mixer system has been introduced. Output of the in-line mixer implemented in front of mixed tank reactor can be used for the feedforward control and further can be perturbed for reliable adaptation without disturbing pH process much. Here, effectiveness of pH control systems with in-line mixers is illustrated experimentally.
