Abstract

The article examines in detail the historical and etiopathological aspects of fibroplastic penile inducing, new data on the theory of the formation of fibrous plaques.The objective: To analyze the efficacy of conservative treatment of Peyronie’s disease in outpatient settings.Materials and methods. During the period 2012-2018 66 people aged between 20 and 70 years were examined and treated. Each patient has an individual approach when prescribing medicines, but all were given complex treatment with physiotherapeutic procedures.Results. After treatment, the algic syndrome was noted in 5 (7.6%) patients. Plaque size after treatment decreased in 48 (72.7%) of men. Complete plaque dissolution was achieved in 12 (18.1%) cases. Softening of cartilaginous plaques was effective in 29 (43.9%) men. In 25 (37.9%) men the angle of curvature of the penis decreased during erection, in no patient the angle of curvature in treatment increased. Most of all men worried about erectile function, which was improved in 28 (42.4%) patients. Patients with neurotic psychogenic disorders performed rational psychotherapy, explanations, with the appointment of sedatives and sedatives.Сonclusion. Qualitative treatment should be dynamic, take into account the clinical version, prescription of the disease, constitutional, immune, endocrine factors and personality of the patient, living conditions, professional activity, education, desire to be treated and financial condition.
