Abstract

Beginning with the statement that the most effective treatments for opioid use disorder (OUD) are medications — methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone — an “issue brief” (it's actually quite long) from The Pew Charitable Trusts (Pew) released last week recommended that states set “core metrics to track” the ways in which care is provided for OUD, from diagnosis through recovery.
