Abstract
Festivals were integral to the Soviet political tradition. Research has been undertaken with a view to understand the mechanism of holiday formation and functioning. Article is focused on the Soviet festivals as a special time political communication in particular communication between Petrograd and Petrozavodsk. Author assumed that celebrations was a space of conflict between Bolsheviks. Research into the properties of this festival is of great importance, because it may contribute to understanding of the processes occurring in Soviet politics and answer important question: how did the imperious elite try to involve the population in the celebration on 7th of November.
