Abstract

The Reception of users in Primary Health Care prioritizes a reorganization of the care flow. Therefore, the Work Education Program (PET) - Saude / GraduaSUS emerges as an incentive for the development of activities that articulate teaching, research and extension, based on the needs of health and social care. The objective of this study was to report on the experience of the PET-Saude / GraduaSUS regarding the reception given to users of a Primary Health Center (PHC), emphasizing the contributions to the professionals’ development process. This is a report on the experiment carried out in 2017, in a PHC linked to PET-Saude / GraduaSUS. It was based on the observation of the service of welcoming users, understanding the protocol implemented by the municipality and development of an educational activity. The PET experience led to the conclusion that the program enabled the growth of the teaching and learning of the group and the construction of bonds with the community and incentive to the formative process from the perspective of the Unified Health System (SUS in Brazil).
