Abstract
The authors have studied the progression of the disease in the E.E.C. countries (excepting Greece) during the year 1979 to december 1983. The E.E.C. eradication programme and the incidence of the disease, obtained by informations transmitted by the “O.I.E.”, are reported. The epidemiological situation in France is also studied and hown to be suitable for eradication of the disease.
