With the applications and development of emerging technologies like regional healthcare, mobile healthcare, and translational medicine, medical information(such as electronic medical records, electronic health records and transforming genes) has emerged as an explosive growth. These massive data resources should be effectively managed and analyzed for penetrating the trustworthiness problem in medical services into trustworthy interactions between the human and the medical service system, providing personalized, integrated, collaborative, and knowledgeable medical and healthcare services, supporting sharing of medical information and services, and serving the general public. In this paper,we present a novel architecture for a Pervasive Medical Information Management and Services System(PMIMSS) with social computing, and discuss their key techniques, which include medical information sharing and integration, medical knowledge discovery and services, medical service quality evaluation, personalized medical service recommendation, and trustworthy mechanisms for human-system interaction.According to the above key techniques, this paper reviews related research efforts, analyzes existing challenges, and explores future research directions.
