Abstract

Perturbation series for the ’’renormalized’’ complex-energy distorted plane waves (RCEW’s) are defined and shown to converge to the series expansions for the physical distorted plane waves (PW’s) for two-particle scattering via Coulomb-like potentials V (x) =e1e2‖x‖−1+Vs(x), where Vs ∈ ℒ2 has compact support. A perturbation series for the ’’renormalized’’ half-off-shell T matrix is defined and shown to converge to the series expansion for the pure Coulomb physical T matrix.
