Abstract

The differential phase shift produced by a circumferentially magnetised tube of ferrite, coaxially located in a circular waveguide operating in circularly symmetric TE modes, is considered. General perturbational expressions are applied to approximate differential phase shifts. Numerical results are presented and compared to those obtained from an exact solution.
