Abstract
We propose a nonstandard perturbative solution of the p-d model, based on a generalized cumulant expansion. Using a temperature dependent Green's functions formalism, we investigate the magnetic properties of the model within the second-order perturbation with respect to the hopping term. A qualitative comparison with experiments is discussed.
