Abstract
The objectives of this presentation are as follows: 1) to gain a working vocabulary and knowledge of the increasing complexity concerning cannabis and its pharmacology, evolving legalization status, indications, adverse effects, and impact on the developing brain; 2) to understand the rationale for and against further legalization of cannabis and options for preventing and reducing harm; 3) to become familiar with government regulations that affect clinical practice with a particular focus on cannabidiol and evidence for cannabinoids as a medical treatment in children and adolescents.
