Abstract

Abstract The 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire (16 P. F.) and the Rosenzweig Picture-Frustration Study (Rosenzweig P-F) were administered to a group of 164 high school and college students in an effort to determine the relationship between measured personality variables and the direction of one's reactions to frustration. A number of personality variables were found to correlate with either extrapunitive, intrapunitive, or impunitive reactions to frustration. The results were interpreted as support for the combined use of projective tests and personality questionnaires in predicting reactions to frustration.
