Abstract
The process of choosing a vocation or career has been simplified in recent years. Career choices can be made much easier if a student has the correct information, such as knowledge about one's self, one's strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes, and needs and goals. John L. Holland's theory of vocational choice helps describe personality types (realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising, and conventional). This theory emphasizes that one's personality type is the major influence in career choice and development. The main objective of this study was to determine if the Personality Mosaic Model based on Holland's Vocational Interest Theory could identify a dominant personality type in Dietetic majors. The secondary purpose was to determine if a secondary dominant personality exists.
