Abstract

A sample of 923 churchgoers completed the abbreviated form of the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire and rated the extent to which fun and humour contributed towards their experience of good worship. The data demonstrate that an appreciation of fun and humour in worship is positively related to extraversion and negatively related to the lie scale, but unrelated to neuroticism and psychoticism.
