Abstract

The SJP is published by the Swiss Psychological Society, which is the only scientific psychological society of Switzerland and was founded by Jean Piaget. It is a peerreviewed journal that serves as a forum for the scientific discussion of all areas of psychology and their respective applications. The impact factor of the SJP was 1.02 in 2009. The guest editors of this special issue will be the organizers of the EAPP expert meeting that will take place at the University of Lausanne: Jerome Rossier (University of Lausanne), Anu Realo (University of Tartu), Koorosh Massoudi (University of Lausanne), and Juri Allik (University of Tartu). This special issue may contain up to eight original contributions addressing the question of the relationship between personality and culture. The contribution may be theoretical, empirical, or propose a literature review. This special issue will be published in Volume 71, Issue 1 (February, 2012). The manuscript should not exceed 3,500 words (including main text plus notes, acknowledgments, and appendices), 25 items on the reference list, and 2 tables or figures. The abstract should not exceed 200 words and should be followed by 4–6 keywords. The manuscript has to comply with the American Publication Association’s (APA) Publication Manual (6th ed.).
