Abstract
The article describes the funds of Volga archives formed by documents of personal origin of representatives of noble families of the Samara province. The information potential of sources, their representativeness and use possibilities are analyzed. The significance of the study of personal funds for the study of everyday life is revealed; the difficulties of introducing ego-documents into scientific circulation are noted.
