Privacy and convenience have been at odds for years with the popularity and reliability of cloud computing offered by big companies. As well as the rise in mobile or any type of “on the go” computing. Do consumers need to sacrifice their privacy or even functionality by relying on 3rd party cloud services or applications. This research is intended to develop the foundation for a personal cloud system that runs off user hardware. The research is focused on reducing all connections to 3rd party software while on the go and giving users complete access to their home system and all it’s functionality from any display with a USB C or HDMI connections.
