Abstract
The article determines the main features of the personal book collection of T. Balabushevych, the associate professor of the Department of History of National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" (NaUKMA) in the NaUKMA Library. The book collection reflects the personal and scientific interests of the owner, testifies to her general erudition, long academic search and creative connections with other scientists. The library contains not only fiction, but also publications on world and national history, political science, economics, geography, literary studies.
 The paper analyzes the general characteristics of the collection, margins, gift inscriptions and bookplates, which are described in detail. It was found that the collections are mostly book editions — 79% of the fund, the rest — periodicals and individual articles obtained from scientific journals. Chronologically, the collection covers the period from 1905 to 2019. Its language structure is quite diverse, available editions in Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Belarusian, Spanish, Italian, Lithuanian, German, Slovak, Hungarian, Finnish, French and Czech. The collection includes books published by publishing houses in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, the USA, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Germany and others.
 The relevance of the collection is determined for researchers of world history, as for the history of Eastern Europe and Ukraine, such as political scientists and lawyers.
