Abstract
This article examines such a field of schooling means as language pedagogy, its features of its use during the courses of a foreign (English) vocabulary, as well the requesting of the corpus approach, considering the personality of a high school scholar, language skills and professional orientation. The corpus approach to schooling a foreign (English) vocabulary is taken as a means of a learner’s cognitive interest development. Pedagogical conditions have been formulated and experimentally tested, contributing to the effective growth of cognitive interest, as the most valuable factor in improving education, for learners in foreign (English) vocabulary courses. The principal objective of the research was to determine how different approaches to schooling a foreign (English) language affect the action of learners in the section «My future career» and the themes «What is your profession in the future», «Popular jobs nowadays» and how the motivation for learning a foreign vocabulary is related to the approach to teaching. Applying an individual approach to the language capabilities of students, referring to the corpus direction in schooling a foreign language, a number of exercises have been developed, considering the different language skills of school learners.
