Abstract

Delayed presentation following Achilles tendon rupture is a troublesome problem for both the patient and surgeon. It can be associated with both functional morbidity and operative morbidity. Various methods are described to manage this problem. We describe our technique of peroneus brevis tendon transfer to tackle this problem.
