Abstract

Increasing the duration of a deformation-heat effect on polyester fibre material ensures attaining irreversible deformation and increases the bulk density. Processing of polyester fibre material results in the equivalent dependence between the increase in the bulk density and the decrease in water permeability. Increasing the bulk density significantly decreases the air permeability.
