Abstract

Abstract— Legal protection of workers is part of the employer's obligation to fulfill workers' rights. But in reality at PT X the rights of workers to get the same treatment without discrimination from employers are still ignored by employers. The work has a very important meaning in life. Every person must need a job and legal relations in a job as the rights and obligations of one party dealing with the rights and obligations of the other party between the employer and his workers. The method used in this study uses a normative juridical approach, namely research conducted by examining data or library materials, namely the Manpower Act and various types of literature and research specifications, namely analytical descriptive in the form of analyzing applicable legal provisions and analyzed using theories relevant to the legal protection of labor. The results of the study concluded that the legal protection of workers against acts of discrimination in a company is still not maximally fulfilled in accordance with the rules contained in Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Labor. And it is necessary to increase the enforcement of sanctions and the knowledge of workers themselves about the rights that must be obtained in order to create prosperity to realize company goals.
