Abstract
Ottoman empire as the kingdom that survived until the 20th century more attention on the issue of military and territorial expansion. E ducation and intellectual movement is directed to strengthen the stability of the royal empire. There is a very close relationship between the military interest, religion, power, and reforms in education. On the one hand , the military is injected so hard on the whole society and the empire by strengthening the power of the Ottoman Empire and on the other hand , the socio - religious authorities is bound to Islamic law and also develops understanding Sufi oriented . on the other hand , energy- Muslim scholars of the time run out just for sheer produces ideas in military field . For them , the demands of the times which requires Muslims to master science and technology is the reason that learning is an obligation , without having to be embarrassed or looked away , although science and technology from the West
