Abstract
Perioperative pain after laparoscopic choletsystoectomy is multifactorial and complex, including several different mechanisms of pain. Pain is the main complaint and the main cause for patients discharge delay. The aim of this article was to review the evidence regarding pain incidence and intensity after laparoscopic cholecystectomy, its impact on treatment outcomes, efficacy and safety of systemic adjuvants – lidocaine, ketamine, dexmedetomidine during laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
