Abstract

Objective To investigate the perioperative nursing experience of percutaneous compression plating for aged patients with intertrochanteric hip fracture. Methods The clinical nursing data of 24 aged patients with intertroehanteric hip fracture were ana- lyzed. Based on the pathological, physical, and psychological characteristics of elderly people, corresponding measures were provided to pre- vent complications and let them have functional exercise. Results Among of them 24 eases were followed up for 6 - 28 months ( average 16 months). According to the scoring systems of Harris, the results were excellent in 14 cases, good in 8, fair in I, poor in 1. The rate of ex- cellent and good was 91. 6%. Conclusions Proper perioperative nursing and postoperative rehabilitation guidance can improve success rate, decrease complications, promote functional recovery and improve life quality of patients.
