Abstract

Endodontic–periodontal lesions occur as a combination of an endodontic infection and periodontal disease in a single tooth. As an endodontic–periodontal lesion is a complex condition, establishing an accurate diagnosis and prognosis of the involved teeth is crucial while treatment planning. Modern endodontic and periodontal treatment modalities can allow improved prognosis and long-term preservation of teeth with endodontic–periodontal lesions.
