Periodic Travelling Waves of the Delayed Nicholson’s Blowflies Model with Diffusion

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the existence of periodic travelling waves with large wave speed for the diffusion Nicholson’s blowflies model with delay effect by applying the perturbation technique. The proof depends on transforming the differential equation with the wave profile into integral equation, combining the implicit function theorem and the Liapunov-Schmidt reduction.
