Abstract
Recently it has been shown that the superposition of solitons constitutes an exact periodic solution of many well known nonlinear evolution equations, including, for example, the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) and the modified KdV equations. The same phenomenon is investigated for the second modified KdV equation.
