Abstract

In their most recent legislative report, the Washington State Maternal Mortality Review Panel found that one of the leading causes of pregnancy-related deaths were behavioral health conditions, including suicide and overdose, and opioids were involved in most of the pregnancy-associated accidental overdose cases.
