Abstract

In Brief Organ engineering is developed using decellularized organs retaining vasculature and extracellular matrix, including heart, lung, liver, pancreas, and kidney. Organ recellularization uses cells derived from pluripotent stem cells, including for kidney cellular constituents of the metanephric mesoderm and ureteric bud.
