Abstract

The multiple-critical-pole equiripple rational (MCPER) transfer functions are compared with the elliptic transfer functions in the design of bandpass cascaded-biquad switched-capacitor (SC) filters. Filters designed using the two classes of functions are investigated in terms of bandpass sensitivity, total capacitance, group delay, and noise. The results show that MCPER transfer functions make it possible to design SC filters with superior performances, in particular with lower bandpass sensitivity. >
