Abstract

Estimation of Time Delay is a fundamental topic in a variety of Applications. When no reference signal is available, as in the case of Passive Radars and Electronic Warfare (EW) Receivers, the Time Delay is estimated as Difference in Time Of Arrival (DTOA) between signals arriving at two different channels of the same Receiver (Rx). The present work summarizes theoretical, simulated and measured results of a DTOA Estimator based on Cross-Correlation Technique.
