Abstract

The philosophy of the Leagile Supply Chain (LASC) has been attracting the attention of academicians and industrialists all around the globe and rightly so. With increasing competition, shorter product life cycles, more demanding customers and the rising prices of resources, Supply Chain Management (SCM) thus needs the right direction towards a better paradigm besides the agile and Lean Supply Chains (LSC). Hence, the LASC provides a competitive edge compared to other types of supply chains. In this paper, an attempt has been made to develop a multi-attribute decision model: the Performance Value Analysis (PVA) to justify the LASC. The usefulness of the proposed PVA is demonstrated through a case situation.
