Abstract
Electrically propelled ships have many advantages that are unmatched by diesel direct-driven ships and are therefore widely studied. The dynamic simulation of the ship's electric propulsion system was carried out and a mathematical model was developed. SIMULINK simulation module was used to simulate the dynamic performance of diesel generator sets under large loads. The simulation of the permanent magnet synchronous motor with SVPWM control was carried out with load starting and sudden load addition, and the dynamic change process of the internal parameters of the motor was analyzed in detail. In addition, a Ship-Engine-Propeller model was built to study the characteristics of propeller torque under direct starting and graded starting of electric propulsion ships, respectively. Finally, the overall simulation model of the ship electric propulsion system is built, and the starting process of the system is simulated under direct start and graded start respectively, and the simulation clearly and intuitively shows the dynamic process of the main parameters in the system.
