Abstract

To solve the problem of the low speech signal quality on the FH channels with wideband rejective interference, the performance optimization of CVSD coding in the digital FH system was studied. A new CVSD demodulation arithmetic was designed based on the principle of traditional CVSD system. Then the rule for measuring the quality of speech signal was offered and presented the simulation method of digital FH system with baseband model based on the optimized CVSD demodulation arithmetic. In the end, the influence of the received speech signal' quality loss in the digital FH system with partial-band noise jamming based on optimized arithmetic was analyzed. The simulation results showed that compared with the traditional CVSD system, the optimized CVSD demodulation arithmetic can control availably the quality loss of the received speech signal, it can obtain better speech quality even if with the serious wideband rejective interference.
