Abstract
AbstractTwo single‐layer FSSs are presented as radiation filters in conjunction with a conventional horn antenna. The amplitude of the transmitted wave to the variation of the incidence angle is studied with a view to designing a spatial filter array. It is demonstrated that these single‐layer arrays act as spatial filters, following a simple design of a regular plurality of slotted elements. © 1993 John Wiley & sons, Inc.
