Abstract

A novel multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) scheme based on wavelet packets, called WP-MC-CDMA, is proposed. The performance of the WP-MC-CDMA scheme is investigated for a channel with Rayleigh multipath fading. The numerical and simulation results show that the performance of the WP-MC-CDMA scheme is significantly better than that of the conventional MC-CDMA (CNV-MC-CDMA) scheme.
