Abstract

Epoxy asphalt seal coat, styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) modified emulsified asphalt seal coat and fiberglass asphalt seal coat are selected as the waterproof and cohesive layer of cement concrete bridge deck pavement. Laboratory test methods will be carried out to analyze their shear performance, bond performance and fatigue performance comparatively. The results indicate that the waterproof and cohesive layer, the shear performance, bond performance and fatigue performance of SBS modified emulsified asphalt seal coat are poorer than the others. When fiberglass is added it becomes the fiberglass asphalt seal coat and all three performances are greatly improved.
